Charges dropped against Liberal candidate in New Brunswick election – The Globe and Mail

Charges of fraud and uttering forged documents against a New Brunswick Liberal candidate were dropped after a review concluded they did not meet the threshold needed for a prosecution, the provincial attorney general’s office said Friday.

Andrew Harvey was charged in July for offences alleged to have happened three years ago. But a secondary review of the case was launched due to the high profile it generated, the assistant deputy attorney general said.
